Any interestin a hamer in/ knife get together?

Hi folks,

Been kicking around having a small hammer in or informal get together up here in Pennsylvania. I am located up here in the Northeast Corner of Pennsylvania. Near Lake Wallenpaupack.

Just thought it might be fun if a few folks wanted to get together some sunday to pound on some steel or just shoot the breeze about making knives Share stories tips etc..trade, tell lies etc etc.

I would be willing to host something small here. We have about 1 acre of ground and I would open up my shop. I have a coal forge and I am working on a small gas forge...I have nothing to speak of anvil wise I am using a big hunk of steel and a piece of railroad track. The coal forge of course lives outside. We are out int he country enought that the neighbors wont mind us pounding on steel .

So with that said I am just in the thought process stage....Is there any interest in anyone in and around the Pa area in doing something like this? Just looking for an interest level right now....let me know folks...I am open to suggestions

Ross
