Casting Call: Dying Crafts
A nationwide casting call is underway for craftsmen from across N. America. We're looking for all types of craftsmen whose career is considered a dying art.
*Does your career involve actively making something with your hands?
*Has the demand for your craft decreased over the past several years?
*Is the number of artisan in your field drastically lower than when you were first introduced to the industry?
If any of these describes you or anyone you know, then contact us! Email us at
castingluckydog@gmail.com with the subject line "Craft." Please include pictures, a bio and a 2-minute video about why you should be chosen.
Note from Ray Rogers: I contacted these people and they seem legit. They have a website at
http://luckydogfilms.com which they should have listed but didn't. As far as i can tell, they aren't asking you for money so it isn't SPAM by my reckoning. However, I wouldn't suggest that you contact them unless you have been making knives for at least a few years and you have some unique and interesting background to add to that (like me
except that I'm not interested) ...
