I'm new here

Hey guys, I'm new around here. I have been a knife collector for years and have always been into modifying my knives and pretty much anything else I own. I just started making some knives a couple months ago and am addicted. I came down to the annual meeting for an hour or so in Statesboro this past weekend and met a few people there. I live in Juliette and look forward to meeting more people and hopefully getting good enough to join!

Thanks for joining us Saturday! Hope you got a little taste of who we are. And by the way, we are an educational guild, no experience required to join! There is enough talent within the membership that your learning curve can be substantially reduced. The meeting at the Twins is just one of the four quarterly meetings. Here is a link to the Guild Gallery with a bunch of photos of past meetings. http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/album.php?albumid=155

Did you sign the guest list? if not, and you want to be added to the email list, contact me via email or pm via my profile.

Hope to see you at a meeting in the future.

Thanks! I didn't sign the guess list. I didn't know there was one.

Remember talking to you, but by the time you arrived we had moved/covered things up due to the weather. Glad you had the time to come. Once we get started with the demos you just kind of have to barge in.
There are several makers in your area north and south of you. If you don't mind the run north to Conyers area I can link you to several makers there.
Our next meeting will be up in Lula (NE of Gainsville).

Tip: Fill out your profile with more info and you will get more info in return.

Most of the guys in that general area are "cross-associated" with the Flintriver Knife Club.
A quick google can get you contact info with the club. Good group of folks same as the Guild. If you cannot make the connection, let me know and I'll PM you the president's contact info (just don't have it handy at present).
