Talking KITH -- Neck Knife all done

And ready to go --

The knife is 5160, hand forged and finished. 2 3/4" blade, 5 1/2" OAL. The handle is the inside part of a fossil walrus tusk. Brass pins, thong hole liner. Blue liner under the scales. The sheath is veg tan leather, carved, hand stitched, and sealed with beeswax.

This is my first KITH, and I have to admit I'm pretty excited. Can't wait to get this in the mail and get another!

Happy New Year to everyone --

Walter

Very nice design, I really like that knife. Makes me all the sadder that I didn't have time to participate...

Jens.

Hi Jens,
Took a look at your photo album. You've got some nice knives in there -- seems like you would have been a natural for the neck knife KITH.

Cheers,
Walter

Thanks Walter, neck knives are my favorite typ of knives-handy size, easy to carry. But at the moment I have no time to make knives...maybe next time.

Jens.
