antelope sg4 sheath
In case anyone missed it in the sheath forum I thought I would post here as well.
This is an antelope hide (from africa) sheath I had a local guy make up for me, picked it up today actually. The knife is a SG4 trailing point kit from knifekits.com, stabilized ash burl and nickel silver pins. The epoxy I used was locktite 324 speedbonder (4,000 pound strength) Ed __________________ Gold is for the mistress - silver for the maid Copper for the craftsman cunning in his trade. sweet scales. The pattern is almost a spider web.
As a kid, I had a sheath from Finland (lapland northern region) that was similar to that one. I think it was elk, with fur attached. Very nice. |

yea the scales turned out really good. however the sheath has brought alot of bad reviews and it seems to be in the middle of the road. not quite sure if i like it or not.
