Looking for Benchmade 43, 43-401

Hey guys,

I need help tracking down a NEW BM 43 or 43-401. Do any of you know where I can find such a sexy beast? I'm willing to pay good money, but not outrageous prices. Thanks.

Welcome Skelling...., and of course Merry Christmas (almost)....

I'd suggest just searching around on various Forums to see if anyone is selling one of the models you are looking for.

As I'm sure you know..., the 43-401 isn't going to be that easy..., since only 100 were made. They sold out in roughly 3 days, and it's a highly prized production knife. I'd guess it's going to run you around $300+ to get one in mint condition..., but sooner or later someone will sell one.

Although the Model 43 (AKA - "Collver Bowie") hasn't been produced for a while now..., they are many more of them out there than the 43-401..., so with some patience and consistent searching I'm sure you can find one.

I think your best bet is to shoot Duane at EDC Knives an email :

dweikum@edcknives.com

Duane is more likely to run across one in trade or otherwise than most folks, and has found at least a few 43-401's for folks that I know of. He also gets 43's in on trade now and then, so that's what I'd do.

He also had the "Exclusive" on the 43-401..., so he knows who has 'em.

You mean 43-401....right?? And yeah that is lucky .., congratulations. Have only seen a few of those leave the hands of the original purchaser so far.

Good score!
