Paragon help , anyone !!
my first firing........``TCL`` error (thermocouple) appeared at 200F
second firing .........ramped up to 1000F pretty fast and then painfully slow to 1600F at the rate it was ramping would have taken hours to reach 1825-1850F Paragon customer service has been (no comment) back and forth checking wire connections , voltage charges etc etc all seems normal next test.........ramps to 500F and ``TCLR`` error (thermocouple reversed) so I take pictures of wiring and circuit board , send to Paragon all normal they say next ramp........``TCLR`` error at 950F and starts to cool from there anyone with info greatly appreciated Last edited by BCROB; 01-05-2013 at 10:10 AM. |

Recently had to get a replacement controller board from Paragon. They were actually quite good to work with, once we figured it was the contrller they shipped one out to me right away. Who did you buy it through? They may be able to help. I bought mine through USA Knifemaker and they cetainly helped in talking to Paragon.

NO. On mine the controller said there was power going to the coils when in fact there was not. They had me do a bunch of tests to see where the problem was, then shipped me out the controller.
ashley@paragonweb.com was the lady that helped me at Paragon. Steve __________________ Stephen Vanderkolff Please come on over and check out my website. http://www.vanderkolffknives.com/ Thanks |

My brand new paragon, did same thing, get up to 1100 degrees, and start going down, called customer service , and they directed me to bend piece on door that presses button on front, heat from oven was causing door to open a little. First attempt got it up to 1800 degrees, so I bent it a little more, works fine now, customer service was really helpful.
