ed - missed you in eugene!

sorry to see that you and ferry didn't make the show. but then, most of the folks that i spoke with on sunday said that their sales were off from last year which had been better than the two before. can't dope the market i guess.
.
the news flash in blade about the blade west show coming to portland may also have had something to do with the change of attendance at eugene this year. there seemed to be a lot of last minute shuffling of folks that didn't expect to get a table that suddenly found there would be room.
.
keep up the good work.

Hi Wayne!

There are a number of reasons that myself, and many others didn't go to Eugene this year. Speaking strictly for me, I have been disappointed over the past few years by a lot things at the show, and even though I've enjoyed visiting wtih everyone at the show for the last 10 years, the quality of the show has diminished to the point I decided to drop it from my schedule. There is a thread over on the General forum about the show, that I started in hopes of determining if others were seeing the same things that I am .
As I say in the other thread, I'm not slamming the door on the show, but will give it a rest for a while until I can determine if things improve.
