1095 and B&W Ebony

I haven't posted any of my knives recently, but I have actually been in the shop quite a bit. The is one I just finished for a good friend of mine. The handle style is a bit different for me and actually inspired by Andrew Garrett's "North Star". Mine is kind of a clunky version of his is very refined style - thanks for the inspiration Andy!

Anyway.... This one is 3/16" 1095 about 9" OAL with a 4" blade. Edge quinched and deeply etched with a B&W Ebony handle. The grind line is quite a bit lower than I would normally do on 3/16" stock but this was requested to be a "chopper" so the customer got what he requested. Comments/feedback appreciated.

-Dave

Good job on that one Dave! I really like the profile on that knife. Never seen B&W ebony before. Pretty cool looking wood.

Dave you did a good job on the knife. I like the extra little finger grip area. Nice safety feature and it is also good for chokeing up on the grip while skinning. Looks like a really good using knife.
Thanks for sharing.
Curtis
