I dunno why I am chimming in but I am lol.....Nuthin realy to do about knife making but all this talk of safety in the shop and all. don't get me wrong I am in 100% agreement.

Recently I have had a very close loved one come down with a illness and I started trying to find a way to help them. Ofcourse there ain't much I can do but in my research i found out a few things I never realy thought much about. Somebody mentioned acryllics as harmfull. I work in plastic and just about every kind there is was a warning on the container...Causes cancer. So say ,when you get in a hot car the fumes from all the plastic in there are enering your lungs.

Just about every town or city clorinates their water. Clorine is some nasty stuff. Someone might come back and say I only drink distilled water. well thats a good plan its the safest. But whatabout when you take a nice hot shower?.....Your in a gas chamber.

i could go on and on , Point is All day long everyday 24/7 we are exposed to very unhealthy chemicals that are slowly poisioning us. Its in the air we breath the water we drink , at work , in our homes , clothes we wear, cars we drive.
