Good, we could all learn something about gemstones from you I think.

A $4 mic will do, the camera is optional .....

I am definitely going to try to make it. Sundays are hard for me but if you do one later on during the week I'm sure I can be there. Thanks for your efforts to help us in our knifemaking!!!

You're welcome. Trying to teach others is a great way to learn.

This Sunday is just the initial trial, we have to start somewhere. If enough people are interested in some other day and time, I'm willing to do it almost anytime. Hopefully, that will be something we can talk about on Sunday.........

Hey Ray!

Can we "Old" knifemakers sit in and listen? There's always something to be learned..........and sometimes the best idea come from those unpoluted minds!

Of course. I just wanted to provide a place were Newbies might feel comfortable asking what they feared might be 'dumb' questions without fear of bugging the 'big' boys.

You'll probably get put to work amswering forging questions..........

Mr. Harley, I have been to your chat room a couple of times, but no one is ever there. Do you have a set time for chats?

Yep, I mentioned Steve's forum in my original post on this thread. Had a good time there myself this last weekend.

My goal is to give some of the Newbies who either do not know about the Paltalk forum, or do not yet have the confidence to feel comfortable asking what they fear may be 'dumb' questions, a familiar starting place. After that, we may all camp on Steve's doorstep........

Wish I could sit in on the chat...

I tried to subscribe, but apparently PalTalk is a PC-only affair...and ours is an all-Mac household.

Bummer!

PS. Our next computer is going to be a PC laptop...
