Money Clip
This is a simple piece I did for a friend on a nickel silver money clip. I have been reluctant to post my work because of being surrounded with so much fine talent and experience, but I guess you have to start somewhere. Comments are welcome.

Don, it's just darned good to see you engraving something! The money clip looks nice. Your friend is going to love it.

Hi friend Don.
Good to be in touch, last was Scott's shindig and the beautiful music you provided. Don't forget to add the darker line that runs from behind the gills to the tail right down the length of their body, It would be just below where you have indicated the scales on the back. Don, Don't be afraid to go in with your burin and do some shading on that fish and even on the water, just as in scroll work it takes shading to give it the 3-d look. If your unsure how to shade it, get some fish photos or drawings and a piece of paper and work it out on paper then repeat it on the metal. Its a good outline, just need some detail
You say your apprehensive to post your work, I am just as apprehensive to give out advice, it took me three days to post this.  I look forward to seeing more of your work. Brian

I think that each artisan has a style of different work. Some craftsmen have a great talent and another craftsmen work very hard to get to advance. But definitively respect to work exists in general and always it is a pleasure for wholes to be able to partake or showing the photos at this forum. The engraving is very nice, friend Don and you go advancing in the course of time.
