Liner thickness for folder pocket clip?

Most the folders I make use .040"/1.01mm or .050"/1.27mm 6-4 Ti. Want to make a few with pocket clip carry option but not sure this is sufficient thread engagement using this thin Ti.
Probably a 2-56 screw as the 0-80 may be a bit smallish.

If the clip is offset then one clip screw goes into the backspacer. That would allow one screw with sufficient length. The other screw may be iffy in that thin liner thickness though. What are your thoughts if this is sufficient liner thickness for mounting a pocket clip?

I have used 2-56 screws in .050 liners and it works well enough on smallish folders. But, I mostly liked to make beefier folders so I used .062 liners and 2-56 screws on the pocket clips...

Thanks Ray! I looked at the variety of production folders I have and those use significantly thicker liners so this isn't an issue. One of the knives with slightly thinner liners used standoffs so the liner itself isn't tapped. That variant allows enough screw into the standoff. This has a larger bearing surface on the liner and clip to support the clip tension. The simple solution is to use a thicker liner.

One of my older pieces an owner contacted me about adding a clip. That had me pondering ways with those thinner liner folder patterns.
