Semi-Skinner
I thought some of you might like to see my version of a Seim-Skinner.
Blade steel is D2 at 61-62 Rockwell Fittings are 303 stainless and engraving stock The wood? sorry I just don't know for sure; but I think it is fiddleback maple. The grip is very comfortable. Thanks for looking, Jerry [IMG][/IMG] |

Very nice, one of my favorite bkade shapes. I really like the grind line on this one.

Robert, thanks for the look I appreciate it. I forgot to mention it is a hollow grind
Shakudo: I'm sure its not cherry, but it could be sycamore ( I couldn't tell a piece of sycamore from a bag of peanuts) I did a search but couldn't find a pic so your guess is proably better than mine. Thanks for the kind words. Jerry |

Hi Dwane. I appreciate the comments, I use the term "semi" because the upward sweep is cut off like the typical Semi Skinner. Thanks for lookin'

Very nice. I especially like the handle. Looks like it would be very good for actual use. Don't see any solder on the guard/ricasso joint. Is it just really really good solder job, or did you use epoxy?
