Cool kind slow in here lately

So I thought I'd post. A couple months ago I had no autos. Then I went to PKA and bought 3 from ProTech. The tantilla, Harkins D/A, and the runt, which is one of my EDC's now.

Since then I have acquired a Mikov, a Hubertus Guardian swing guard, 6" fish picklock, Boker OTF, 9" stiletto, 11" leverlock, and the Juggernaut (8 1/2" folder).

Switchs and autos are habit forming!!

As you would figure, the higher priced ones are the best for spring and lockup. The cheaper ones aren't too bad tho. The Juggernaut is a cheapie, but it has a good hard snap and feels good in the hand. Need a smaller one to use for an EDC tho, or else carry it in a pouch.

Now my goal is an auto from Gene Osborn. Been drooling since Coop posted the pic of the knife he got from Geno. That is one smooth, cool, slick, dignified knife. And have been wanting a scale release for years. Might take a while, but I may have the money for one someday.

What kinda knives got the rest of you started in autos.

Severtech of course! I now have a BM 3200, Dake pearl auto, Dalton Warcom. Autos are not my focus but sometimes they talk louder than the other knives. And what am I supposed to do, say NO!

I got started with a Colt M-16. I now have 9 switchblades and 7 assisted openings. I really want to convert a couple of knives to automatic, but have not been able to find any parts for the conversions. If anyone knows where to get springs and release buttons, please let me know. I am particularily interested in converting Colt AK-15's and Boker Top Lock's.

Have you tried knifekits.com? I think they have coil springs and Darrell has a button lock kit now that has a pushbutton, so should be able to use that.
