How do i resize pictures?
I am using a pc with xp.I have Easyshare and Picassa.I need to resize the pictures so i can post them on these forums and have spent many hours trying but have had no success.Thanks for any assistance.McAhron

I donno if my method will help you, I use a scanner instead of a camera...
When I scan the pic, before I save it, I have the option of fiddling with the pic quality and the size, so I click on the size button and then click the 50%, then I'll save it as a jpeg. After that I'll take it to picassa to crop out all the empty space which also makes it smaller. I hope this helps, though unless you're using a scanner I doubt it will. __________________ ~Andrew W. Download Irfanview. http://www.irfanview.com
Open your image with it and click on the Image menu. There's a resize option there. |

I figured it out.I needed to export the pictures from Piccassa to my documents and this allowed me to reduce them.Thanks for your time and help.McAhron

Go to this site.Scroll down to Image Resizer. Install it. Then you can resize images just by right clicking on them and selecting resize image. VERY NICE ulitiy I use 90% of the time. CLeartype is also very good on this page.
