White (Kitchen) Knight

I was just buying some supplies in the Classifieds here, so I figured I might as well post some of my latest knives.

Because I started my studies I wasn't able to go in the shop for more than half a year.

But I guess making knives is just like riding a bike, once you learned it you will never forget it .

So here's my latest piece.

It is supposed to be a matching piece to this Ivory Micarta Onion Chopper.

Since he had to wait for nearly 6 months I put a nice, time consuming satin finish by hand on it. Makes it look a lot better in my eyes, just like a knight in shining armor .

The steel is differentially hardened 0-2 (1.2842) in 4mm thickness. It sports Ivory Micarta with red liners and SS pins.

I forgot to measure it but as you can see in the pics it's definitely not on the short side .

The spot is just a piece of dirt, not pitting:

I hope you like it as much as I do and I'm looking forward to your comments.

Best regards,
Marcus

It looks great. The satin finish makes the overall product.

Keep it up.

Very clean. I like the contrast with the red liners and that looks like a very consistent satin finish. Does it work on the onions.
