Oregon Skinner.....

This is another blade from the saw steel Indian George had given me. The blade is 3 1/4" with an overall length of around 8". The handle is a really old weathered piece of elk stag. Used wagon wheel wrought iron on this one. Its got alittle more heft than the last one I made but does feel really good in the hand........

I really like that one. Very nice handle.. looks like it is heavy, what provides good control for such a working knife.

Ray,

As usual, a very nice knife. You just keep cranking out the good stuff!

Very nice knife. I love that handle. Amazing color and "vains".

I love it!

Very nice knife! I love the heavy modeling on the blade. Overall shape is very appealing. By the way we should get together some time. I would love to share notes, per say. Anything I could learn would be great as I am just getting started. I live out in Beaverton.

Super nice skinner. I have admired your work for some time, and bought a little 52100 utility from bladegallery a while ago. Your sense of aesthetics and design are truly fantastic! You certainly have a way with thoes natural materials; old as the hills and as fresh as cool water>

Sincerely, Don Carlos

Don, Nice to hear from you. I always wonder where my knives end up when they are sold at Blade Gallery. Your words are greatly appreciated!

Chris, Maybe we can get together in the fall. I've got two shows I've been trying to get ready for plus I'm going to be adding onto my shop when I have a break from the knives. Get in touch with me Octoberish........

I'd love to... If you're going to the Blade forging expo in Spokane in October, I will more than likely see you there.
