1 finally finished and others started.
This first one I actually started a couple months ago and I've finally finished it.
Steel - Old file Cutting edge - 2.50" Handle - 3.5" Skins - denim/t-shirt micarta Sheath - stained dark Brown and distressed with 000 wool This next one was going to be for the grind kith, but, I messed it up and had to go to a full grind. Steel - .177 1084 Cutting edge - 3.25 Handle - 4" Then this one is a set that I am working on, they will go in one sheath. Last edited by Wazukie; 10-30-2013 at 07:02 PM. |

Nice Job man. Did you anneal the files yourself?

Is that some home made micarta that you used on the first one? And yeah did you anneal those files first?

The micarta is homemade. Polyester resin, and old pair of jeans and a green t-shirt. Not sure I really like the color though.
Yes, the files were annealed and then heat treated after the grind. |
