1095 and African Padauk
Here's another Knife I made for a customer. They wanted the blade to be mirror polished and 5 1/2" Long. Also they wanted Padauk scales (which I love)...Made the sheath also! Similar to the last one I posted, but the blade is a little similar. Tested the blade ( cut over 246 pieces of cardboard) and it would still shave hair and cut typing paper.
Thanks for Looking!! Frank __________________ ?Happiness... it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.? Franklin D. Roosevelt |

Nice job all around but I especially like the sheath. My condolences on being forced to mirror polish the blade. Now, if this customer runs true to form, you can expect to be asked to re-polish the blade almost every time he does any serious cutting with it ....

I second what Ray said. Top Job.
I am not a fan of polished blades, a person is always having to shine it. LeeRoy |

Hey Frank.
Polished or unpolished is a matter of personal taste. The finished knife looks nice and clean and that sheath is saweet! __________________ Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, one man sharpens another. Check out my website. www.crystalcreekknives.com |
