kukri sheathe

I would eventually like to forge a kukri, and I know a bit about making knives, having read $50 Knife Shop, and I am willing to expirament in order to get the blade right. but, alas, i have sorry woodworking skills, and do not even know where to begin to make a kukri sheathe. as a traditionalist, i want to have both a Karda and Chakmak, which creates an even larger problemwith the sheathe (I have never even touched a traditional kukri, only the machettes). Does anyone have any good ideas (besides practice) or links to webpages where this is demonstrated? thanks.
