Need advice on Stag handle care
I have a Gerber 525 (marked Eddie Bauer on the blade) with a beautiful Stag handle. I use the knife for field dressing deer and noticed that the stag is yellowing and has some small cracks in in.
What care would y'all recommend for stag handles? On another site someone suggested wax and another poster suggested mineral oil. What do you guys think? Thanks for the time and Happy New Year! Mark www.saveoakywoods.com
