Exact same blades with two different looks

After making the LPLO last week I was wanting to use the second blade and see how different a look I could come up with. I chose to use an S guard on the new one and a pistol grip handle. I also used a piece of Wandoo that my friend Bruce had sent me from down under. My first thought about the wood is it was a burl but after mentioning that to Bruce he informed me that the whole tree bore this type of wood. He'd also said it was an extremely rare wood and that it was a type of eucalyptus tree. Again the blade is W-2 and is 8" long. I used modern iron for the fittings. Overall its just under 13"

Now I can go try my hand at fish catching.

I don't think I've ever seen a knife you've made that isn't great, Raymond.
Pure class!

Well that makes me feel a little better! I was about to take the silence personally.

... I really mean it, though. I always love seeing your stuff and admire your sense of form and proportion. These two are just another fine example as to why.
