San Mai MOKUME Pocket Cutter
San Mai MOKUME Pocket Cutter
San Mai MOKUME from 1010/1070/copper sides and a 5160 core. Differentially HT'd. 1.96" (50 mm) long and 0.26" (6.8 mm) thick. 1.06" (27 mm) cutting edge. Hand made leather sheath, copper/stainless mokume lanyard bead. This is the first thing I've made from San Mai Mokume. I'm making a fork/knife set on this same material though, I'll have pictures pronto.       And another cutter I've made too: San Mai Damascus Bottle Opener / Cutter San Mai Damascus from 1010/1070 with a 5160 core. 5.11" (130 mm) long and 0.18" (4.6 mm) thick. 1.41" (36 mm) cutting edge.
