Looking for some Ideas on some old Taps

I have a bunch of old taps and drills That I am thinking of welding up. The ? is should I lay in some other material for some sort of pattern and then what would you use.

Weld them up with some powder steel. You can get the powder from Kelly Couples. Be sure to make sure what material you have on the taps and drills. Ref your other post.
