couple of questions
Anyone know where I can find 3/16" od by 3/32" bronze bushings? Or is this something that I would have to make a lathe?
Also how many of you slip joint makers grind out the back square on the blade with a 2 x 72 grinder and how many of you mill it out? Is it possible to get it to square tolerances using the grinder? I think I've gotten it square with the grinder and just wondering if it was a once in a while thing or if people get consistant results. Any help would be appreciated. |

I don't know what you mean about a back square on a slipjoint. If you mean the undercut on the blade tang where the spring rides, I mill the top angle and grind in the bottom radius to fit. |

thanks
Thanks for the help guys. I figured I was going to have to make my own to get the size I wanted. Brett I did find the ones you were talking about at Texas Knifemaker's the 1/8" could work I just really wanted the 3/32" id. I'll probably try those who knows I may like it better. Mr. Robinson that is the part of the blade I was talking about, thanks for the help. Ryan Minchew
