Laminated Kingwood Hunter

OK - I'll quit on the laminated blades.

I am a true fan of Kingwood - I really do like it.
Some folks may not enjoy the reddish-purple tint to it, but I like its richness.
And, it's just a pleasure to work with - solid and dependable.
So, here is chunk of it mated up to my latest San Mai of W2 and 416 stainless steel.
She's a handful and would make a great companion on the toughest of outdoor chores.
Will be listed on my web site soon.

Noooooo! Dont' do it, Karl .... Great looking finished knife. Was really curious what you'd come up with and the Kingwood does go rather nicely. Thanks for sharing it and might I say, I don't believe it will last when it goes up on your site....

As usual, another beautiful knife, Karl. I've not used the kingwood but would be a little sceptical of it as it is very like purpleheart which has not been a good seller for me. Love the workmanship though.

Really nice knife. I like kingwood for handles- I consider it purpleheart's richer, more successful cousin. And don't quit on showing off the laminated blades. They're stunning
