The other two members of
the triumvarate:
Steve Vanderkolff of Ontario, Canada, stabilized burl wood. Steve is really coming on strong; his designs and execution are fabulous. You should have seen the 2 pearl inlayed daggers he had on the table. This is by Dave Wardman of Alpena, MI. The photo doesn't do the knife justice, my arrangement makes the blade look shorter than it actually is...stag, african blackwood and 416SS make a great combination from guard to buttcap and the RWL34 Blade is well executed. Dave's transistions from guard to wood to stag is so precise, I can't feel any ridges with my finger nail...under 30x magnification, I can't see any gaps either. A good day for a knife collector at a gun show!!! |

Tim
Thanks for dropping by. It was good to talk to you. And , as always, thank you for your continued support. I am greatly honored to be included in the group that contains one of Don's wonderful jewels. As someone said, without collectors there wouldn't be makers. Thanks Again Steve __________________ Stephen Vanderkolff Please come on over and check out my website. http://www.vanderkolffknives.com/ Thanks |
