electro-etcher
Not sure where to post this so it's going in here
I'm building the electro-etcher from the tutorial on Chris Crawford's website. He doesn't say what thickness the stainless should be. I'm assuming it can be, and should, be pretty thin? 10ga.? On a side note, I haven't had any stencils made yet. I've looked at past threads and have an idea who I'll order from but I'm not sure on the size. My dad has been making knives for 20+ years and I'm finally getting into it also. I tend to mirror his style in that the blade lengths are generally 4-6" mostly hunting style. I currently do not do folders. I don't think I'm anywhere near the skill level for them. I hope that's enough info for you guys to maybe give me some stencil size ideas. I was planning on ordering 3 different sizes, just need an idea on minimum and maximum. |
