Blade car

I know this has nothing to do with knives. But my wife got me something I have wanted for 30 years. My dream ride a 1975 Cadilac Fleetwood Hearse. I have much work to do on her body wise. But she runs and drives like the classy lady she is. 22 feet long she won't fit undr my carport. 500 cubic inches of American made horsepower fed threw a 4 barrel quadrajet carb she'l pass anything on the high-way except a gas station. I drove her right out of a barn in northern Va. put new shoes on her and a friend of mine drove her all the way home to NC. Oh yes she came complete with a Casket in the back. I can't wait to drive her to the July meeting. This is the last great Dinosaur Detroit made. Crap the door is heavyer than a Toyota.

Dream car

I have a dream vehicle also. It is a 1954 ford pickup.. The year I was born. My bucket list is pretty long though. Jerry

Every time I get a old car project I seem to loose interest before I finish it. I think the problem is I start with something that is so far gone that it takes too much effort to get it back together. It looks like you have a great car and a good one to start with so hopefully it won't take much to get it up to speed. You are right, it is an American classic.

Cool car Andy. Never pictured you as a hearse man. When I was just out of high school I worked for a stereo shop and a guy had an old hearse, 60 something and we put a $1000 stereo in it. He made it into quite the party wagon. I will say it looks like it is in good condition.

Steve

I think it's awesome. I'd love to have one to fix up and drive around.

Looking forward to seeing it up close at the next meeting.

Thats it put a Mazda in the back. She has allot of work to be done. Quite a bit of rust, leaks water when it rains. Gotta fix the AC. But other than that she's a cherry.

That is really cool and I like the color. I gotta say though, I am thinking you might be riding to lunch by yourself.
