Hi all

here's a seax/fighter
9inch blade
etch in nitric

the blade is also wootz with many ladders in the pattern

thanks for the kind comments

it's one of those blades that kind of forged its self...
- put some lite surface ladders on it and the pattern turned out nice... (cept my pics are not the best)
- wootz patterns are hard to photograph... had to go outdoors and take pics of the knife on an old piece of marble. (slightly overcast in clouds)

every once and awhile an ingot turns out real good.... with an exceptional pattern... (if your lucky)

I like it, the pommel evokes the Viking model but is a bit different. First seax I've seen in wootz too.
