First Knife in a While
I moved last year and finally got my shop put back together. Here is a knife I started before I moved and finished the other day. I know the handle isn't perfect, but I dropped the knife between the belt and my rest. I adjusted the rest, but it was too late. I was really interested in making the sheath. I saw a couple of wooden sheaths at a knife show recently and wanted to try it. Going to give this one to my mother in law.

Hey Mark, nice to have you back! That sheath is interesting, hadn't seen one like that before. I made a similar one from Micarta once but wood looks great.
You should be able to grind out those divots in the handle without changing the profile by much. They don't look very deep .... |
