Tru oil

Ed, have you ever used Tru Oil on desert ironwood?

Tried to....my advice is don't. At best it will work for a little bit, then it will start peeling/flaking off. At worst you have a gummy mess on the ironwood thats a pain to remove.

Best thing I've found for Ironwood is to finish to 800-1200 grit, then a light buff with pink no-scratch....finished off with a couple coats of good paste wax.
