Way OT, any canadian pilots here?

hi guys,
im planning on a working holiday to canada about the middle of 2007 and was hopeing to work as a pilot.
does anyone know how hard it is to get a job? i can instruct on ultralights or fly charter in GA aircraft. i'll have about 1000 hours by the time i get over there.
also for all canadians, how about throwing some ideas at me of things i should see while im there. im hopeing to stay for about a year so there'll be plenty of time. im hopeing to be able to make a few tris down south to the big aviation things in the states too, maybe airventure and reno air races.
