looking for seax/norse blade references
I've seen some great reproductions here, and bits of info on the web. Does anyone know of books that have good pics/descriptions of seaxes, or knives from the Viking age? I'd like to get as authentic as possible with mine.
Thanks! Jeff |

Hi Jeff,
The book shelf sticky topic on top of this forum has some great books. It my own posting I list the Museum of Londons book on Knives and sheaths. In it, you will find many seax pattern blades from the 10th and 11th centurys. Check out the sticky topic for the ISBN as well as some other excelent research listings. Scott B.
