Rebar Out...In with the New

Well since I got over anxious with the rebar piece that I posted and since have sent to the trash....I did this one today:



It is a 1060 piece forged from 1/4" stock.
Blade Length: 5"
OAL: 9-3/4

I am keeping my pieces a bit shorter until I get my 24" furnace done. My Fogg style forge I can only HT pieces up to 6".

I am keeping some of the forging textures on the blade and handle as I really think they lend well as a contrats. I'll probably do a relief handle so that the forge marks will be visible.

I like that shape. I think it would l look great with an index finger guard.
