The GPC-1000™ is a brand new locking liner, designed for the hobbyist that likes a sleek, more stylized design. This new kit will be made of the same high quality components as our other knifekits.com designer series exclusives, but will offer the maker the wider choice of modifications. It is designed to look good as a "high-tech" piece, with standard micarta, G-10 or carbon fiber scales, or as a "high-finish" model with materials, such as pearl, exotic woods and with embellishments on the liners and bolsters. This folder kit is a premium kit product. All parts and fittings are precision machined. The liners on this kit are stainless steel and heat treated. The ball detent is in place, lock is pre-bent and the entire assembly has been personally inspected before shipping. The blade steel is AUS-8 and has been cryogenically treated to 56-58 rc. Satin bead blast finish only. Optional clip is included in package.

General Kit Specifications
Skill Rating: Level II - IV
Mechanism Type : Locking Liner
Blade Steel: AUS-8 (Cryo-Treated)
Blade Finish: Satin Bead Blasted
Blade Length: 2.75 Inches
Handle Length: 3.75 Inches
Overall Length: 6.5 Inches
Liners: Stainless Steel heat teated

Optional clip available
Optional Handle template for those wishing to make there own handles.

How's that for $39.95?

Are you kidding me? $39.95 for THIS sweet design? You gotta believe!!!

Darrell, congrats on delivering just what Alex has bragged about. This will blow our hats off for sure! I've always loved that little rear step in a bolster shape--it not only gives it a good grip, but it's an eye-pleaser!

Plus you have a very versatile blade shape. Spear pointed fighter, that would have another character/appeal with the different selection of handle materials.

Great idea offering handle templates, too. This would be a small thing you might consider for your existing kits.

Alex: GREAT pics as usual, and thanks for getting them out to us. NOW I can breathe..... Good work!

You've got mail!!!

Follow-up ...

Guys, just a quick note ...we're getting all the mails you've sent. Everything looks correct and I'll send out personal confirmations and reservation numbers to you guys tomorrow, so you're in ... I have your unit count reserved and you'll be among the first to get these kits when they land.

They're better in person than in the images, but thanks for the compliments on the photos. We're also shooting the dealer images too, so I'll have the other new model up, the GX6, and posted here tomorrow.

Kvestyuns....

1. Is the thumb stud removeable,
2. Is the DDR logo on the production blade,
3. How much will the handle template be,
4. How much is the next one going to be (so I know how many of these to buy)?

Re: Kvestyuns....

Hi
My logo is on the new models because they are hand made prototypes. This protects my design.
The knifekit.com blade will not be marked.
The kits will be the same high quality standard as our exisisting models.

The thumb studs on these kits will not be assembled to the blade . I feel it will be easier to upgrade the finish with the thumbers not assembled. YES! We listen to you the end user.

The template will cost 14.95 . This is an item you will only need to buy one time if you plan on making your own handles.

The new kit will be 44.95.

Thanks !
