Yeah they are acctualy etnical parties. Like a rodeo, because gauchos are cawboys by nature. We get together in characteristic dressing and dance typical dances, have typical barbecue and show lace, horse riding, bull riding, and all sorts of stuff. It?s really fun cause our cawboy culture has more then 300 years, back when the land was being first colonized. I cannot tell about Argentina?s history, but the south of Brazil (Argentina frontier) has strong catle activity for more tha 250 years, and then the gaucho would ride north during the winter to sell the catle to the more developed areas of the country. Southern Brazil was called back then Brazil?s Barn, cause all the meat of the country came from there... and still up to today most of it comes from there.
