Custom Skinner
Here's one that I just finished...well except for the sheath and sharpening. It's a skinner made to customer specs. I think this customer has great taste and I'm really pleased with the way the stag handles turned out. The piece on the right side had a spur where another point tried to grow...I think it made a great palm swell. What do ya'll think? Oh, here's the specs on the knife:
OAL 9", 4 1/4" tip to bolster 416ss Dovetailed bolsters Red spacers German Red Stag Scales Mosaic Pins Filework |

Man, you got that filework thing down!
Earlier today, I was showing my wife a photo of another knife I had been admiring...stag handle, sanded down to the white-towards a red spacer. Nice effect. Looks great on yours as well. I'm sure the photo doesn't begin to do your knife justice. Sweet knife. Dennis Yeah Baby! |

Wow ! Looks like one of those rare marriages between customer and maker that just works !! Hope your customer doesn't mind cleaning all the innards out of that beautiful file-work -- thiis knife is just begging to go hunting !! Like the palm swell, like it a lot -- hope your guy is a rightie !!
