Shop cabnet ideas

Hi guys,

We can never have enough space, light or storage in our shops it seems. For tool mounts I normally use just standard kitchen/bathroom cabinets from Lowe's & Home Depot with reinforced MDF.

While playing around I found a couple on online articles that you guys might like them.

For a drill press cabinet:

For a tool cabinet:

For a pantry style & a sliding wall cabinet:

Nice.I did something like the sliding door in my shop. The only difference was I framed up pegboard and put it on hinges. Now I can use both sides of the pegboard door and the storage space behind it as well.

Check out you local kitchen cabinet shop. A lot of times they have take outs they are throwing away. I used one in my shop and it works great. Also it was really cheap and no building.

In addition to cabinet shops, look around and see if Habitat for Humanity has a store near you. There are 2 in my area. They have take-outs that you can get for cheap, and they occasionally get stuff donated that they don't use, including tools, that they resell.
