my first, start to finish

This is my attempt at a copy of a 1940's era Case "pig sticker".(top knife) 1/8x1-1/4 HR-1095B. differ. heat treated with a big torch in a used motor oil quench.Triple tempered and a vinager patena. Honey jigged bone scales with brass liners. Pins are brass brazing rod. Blade ground on a 4x36 Chicago belt sander. Needs final finish around handle and guard, and id like to etch for hammon line when i figure out how. (Waiting for the Primos tutorial), hint, hint. Plans for my next try include,a more pronounced handle swell and a corn cob pattern handle. Everything that went into this knife i learned in this forum and its great tutorials. Thanks to all the great makers here, as i learned a little (a lot) from each. Thanks again, Roc

Hammer,

Great knife. FYI, you can only post a link to your pic with Imagestation. You need to get an account with Fototime if you want to post pics directly on the forum.

Keep up the good work, and we're looking forward to your next creation.
