First use of C-Tek
I made this one along side a commissioned piece. I finished it out a bit differently with the 1/16" C-Tek stuff.
Interestingly, when that material gets hot, it bends like a sheet of soft rubber and holds the heat for a while--strange, but I guess I understand with the honeycombed metal. __________________ Andy Garrett https://www.facebook.com/GarrettKnives?ref=hl Charter Member - Kansas Custom Knifemaker's Association www.kansasknives.org "Drawing your knife from its sheath and using it in the presence of others should be an event complete with oos, ahhs, and questions." |

It looks nice, but that stuff is expensive. Interesting about the heat holding, the metal is aluminum is it not?
