some mosaic

Ahh, finally they were there. Christmas days, new year, and some weekends and holidays inbetween. Finally some time to stay in the forge and jump around the fire and the anvil. Forging some blades, sure, and preparing some more complex ones, too. But definitely spending most of the time forging some mosaic bars with designs that were humming in my brain for some time. Here's three of them and they were fun to make:

Number one shows a motif based on 3 different W-patterns. Size is about 32 by 32 mm.

Number two has fields with crosses and "worms", was a lot more fun to do and is quiet a lot more complex than the first one. It's a 36 by 36 mm bar.

The third bar looks a bit like a city map and consists of a basket weave design over a design of crossed lines over a box mosaic. It's the most complex and the one i like the best. Bar is 42 by 42 mm.

Hope you like it!

Achim
