" The Weather Girl"
Our local stations discovered somewhere along the way, that s-e-x sells. The frompy weather
guy was replaced by the weather "girl"...Or I guess nowadays you're supposed to say"weather person"..indulge me, I'm an old man and I don't care. This last year we had one the girls go to another station, and she was a real looker,-She was replaced with a girl that didn't have her looks, but did what I thought was a great job. This girl actually talked so I could understand her....Didn't have that"valley girl" talking through her nose thing. Six months later the "looker" came back, got her old slot back, and the other girl was never seen again.Kinda sad, because I thought she deserved better than that. She did not dress like a hooker, But I guess the station figured the visual entertainment was more important than doing a good job.Seems a little unfair to me..... __________________ I once complained about having no shoes, until I met a man who had no...guitar |
