Photoshop Elements 6 or 5
Hi
I'm just bought my wife a new digital camera, Canon A720IS 8 meg. This is a upgrade from a Kodak 3400 2 meg and have taken several knife photo's with it using the Dell Photo software that came with my computer. I did buy Photoshop Elements 2 but had trouble using it. I'm wanting to use the new camera to take my knife pictures and to put on the web. Which Photoshop Elements would be good to buy? Assuming that your Photoshop Elements 2 still works with your current computer and operating system, why not just use it? Also, if you had trouble using version 2, then the later versions aren't going to be any easier for you to use - they'll just have more bells and whistles.
Sounds like you need a little hands-on instruction. Try finding someone local to give you a hand - maybe the local community college can steer you to someone, or check around with local photographers and artists. Good luck! |

I agree. You might get used to PE2 first and then if you need more work up to it. There are tons of books such as the "For Dummies" series that should help you.

I re-installed and its working, I can't remember what proplem I had. Also found a dvd on mastering Photoshop Elements 2. Now I need to spend some time and watch the dvd.

Just tried to down load pictures from the camera and Elements shuts down, wants to send an error report. Anybody have any problems like this?
