more seax
First up, 1095 blade 7" long with a curly maple handle, 13" overall.... and a composite blade with a 1095 edge, 1084/15n20 twist, and wrought iron spine, 8" blade, brushed bog oak handle, 14" overall. Thanks for looking. __________________ A good friend told me one time about forging "What is there not to like, you get to break all the rules you were told as a kid, don't play with that it is sharp, don't play with fire, and don't beat on that" Wade Holloway See some of my work. |

Thanks guys!
The leatherwork is done, now for the metal fittings... these sheaths take as long (or longer) to make as the knives themselves.... __________________ A good friend told me one time about forging "What is there not to like, you get to break all the rules you were told as a kid, don't play with that it is sharp, don't play with fire, and don't beat on that" Wade Holloway See some of my work. |
