paring knife duo
I've been messing with paring knives now. this small stuff...well is a different animal. for hollow grinding the biggest thing i've learned is to slow the belt grinder speed down and grind with a 100 grit belt; otherwise expect warping issues
Tech Details: ATS-34, 0.063 thick, 3/16" paper micarta handle, 63 HRC, LIN treated, Serrations on this one are 3/16" diameter. (Just FYI, I've found 1/4" diameter more aggressive on vegetables; just my opinion.) surface finish; buffed with a black polishing wheel then hit them with a fine satin finish. even with this finish the green kitchen sink scotch brite pads will scratch the finish/leaves horiz. scratches. |
