4150 & 6150 Steel for Axe
4150 & 6150 are readily available to me. I wondering if these steels are capable of making a working knife/machete and axe head that will hold a good edge. Or should I persue something with a higher carbon content. Could these steels pass a Journeyman knife test? Thanks

6150 would be excellent. I'm not too fond of 4150 due to the element content, but that's just me.
