My first try at a forced patina and jimping.

Here's my latest knife, let me know what y'all think?

The jimping is before I put a patina on it.

Hey, I really like that profile! Nice clean lines, hard to see the patina but I can see enough. I just got one of those checkering files and plan on doing a little jimping myself! Keep it up and post completed pics when done.

Looks good, simple and functional. It looks like with the pins sticking out you are not done with the handle. I would round the heck out of the handle to make it very comfortable to hold. Just a personal thing.

Yeah, the scales are just dry fitted at this point, I will round them off before I attach them.

only a knife user here but thats great for a 1st time, i like the knife profile a lot. i,ve had great results on knives with white vinegar. it goes a lot more even if you really clean the steel with methyl ethyl ketone.--cranky72

Love the shape. Sleek look to it. Pic is a little fuzzy to see the blade, but looks like it's going to be a beauty.
