Knife Events in February?

Hello Texicans!!!

I Usually Come To Houston, Tx In February Each Year. Sometimes I Have Some Idle Time On My Hands, And Was Wondering If There Were Any Hammer'ins Or Shows Or Anything That Is Normally Planned For This Time In The Year? I Just Thought To Have Something To Do In Between. Any Suggestions?

That's Rodeo time, so a lot of the venues are tied up. There is a Gun and Knife show at the George R. Brown Convention Center Feb. 12-13.

We should all get togther and have a pre-rodeo get together at someone's shop in the Houston area!

Who's place should we volunteer? Front lawn/parking lot at Texas Knifemaker supply?

Daigle and I suggested that they put in bar stools and a coffee pot at TKS, but so far the owner hasn't been too keen on that idea.

'Course, that morning the same conversation will be going on all over SE Texas: "No, honey, I'm not going to TKS to BUY anything! I'd really rather stay here and help you with the (kids/dogs/housework/.......), but I promised the guys I'd show them that knife I made. Don't worry, I should be back early."
